However, I'd like to keep it as "dead simple" as possible and avoid any unnecessary complexity. So, I won't be merging your PR. But, if you'd like to keep developing your own fork of this, I'd be happy to add a link to your fork in the README so people can find it and decide if they'd like the extra features you add. :)
